Frequently asked questions
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Every step — including the AI upscaler — runs in your browser on your own device. Your photos never leave it.
In which order are the steps applied?
Always AI upscale 2×, then resize, then the text watermark, then compression and saving in the format you picked. Turn off any step you don't need.
Is the AI upscale slow?
It depends on your device. With a graphics card (WebGPU in Chrome or Edge) a photo takes seconds; on a phone or a small laptop it can take a minute or more, so the step starts off there and skips photos that are already large.
Does it remove EXIF and GPS data?
Yes. Every saved photo is re-encoded from its pixels, so hidden metadata such as GPS location, camera model and date is not carried over.
Can I compress to an exact size like 200 KB?
Yes. Pick Target file size in the Compress step: the quality is lowered first and, only if needed, the pixel size, until each photo fits.
How many photos can I process at once?
Up to 500 per run, one after another, so memory stays flat. Download each result or everything as a single ZIP file.
