Product Photo Studio: batch white backgrounds for marketplaces

Drop a whole shoot of product photos and get store-ready images: the background removed, the product centred on white, light grey, your brand colour or a studio sweep, a soft shadow, and the exact size Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, eBay or Instagram asks for. Download everything as one ZIP. No credits, no watermark, and the photos never leave your device.

Free · No sign-up

How to use Product Photo Studio

  1. 1. Drop up to 200 product photos (JPG, PNG or WebP). They stay on your device.
  2. 2. Pick the marketplace size, a background (white, light grey, brand colour, studio sweep or transparent), a shadow and how much of the frame the product fills.
  3. 3. Press Process photos. The first run downloads the background remover once (44 MB); then each photo is cut out, centred and resized. Cancel any time and retry any photo that failed.
  4. 4. Check the grid and download one photo or everything as a ZIP. Change the size or background and process again without re-running the cut-out.

Frequently asked questions

Are there credits, limits or watermarks?

No. Everything runs in your browser, so there is nothing to meter: no credits that expire, no watermark and no sign-up. The only limit is your device's memory, which is why a batch is capped at 200 photos and each photo is processed at up to 2000 pixels before it is placed on the final canvas.

Which background remover does it use?

U²-Net, a salient-object segmentation model released under the Apache-2.0 licence, the same model as our Background Remover's objects mode. It runs on your GPU with WebGPU where available and falls back to WebAssembly on the CPU. We don't use non-commercial models such as RMBG-2.0.

What sizes do the marketplace presets use?

At the time of writing: Amazon 2000×2000 on pure white with the product filling about 85% of the frame, Etsy 3000×2250 (4:3) or 2000×2000, Shopify 2048×2048, eBay 1600×1600, and Instagram 1080×1080 or 1080×1350. Marketplaces change their rules, so check their current help pages; you can also set a custom size.

Will it crash on a big batch?

It processes a few photos at a time (one on the GPU, up to two on the CPU), decodes one photo per lane and frees memory after each, so a 200-photo batch runs steadily. If a photo fails, it is marked and you can retry just that one; Cancel keeps everything already finished.

How do I get the Amazon white background right?

Choose the Amazon preset with the White background: the canvas is pure RGB 255,255,255 and the product fills 85% of the frame. Keep shadows soft or turn them off, and don't add text or borders to the main image.

Can I keep my photo's own background?

Yes. Untick Remove the background and the tool only centres, pads and resizes each photo to the marketplace size on the backdrop you pick, which is useful for photos already shot on white.
