How to use Rotate PDF

  1. 1. Drop one or more PDF files into the box. Every page appears as a thumbnail, read on your device.
  2. 2. Click ↺ or ↻ under any page to turn it 90° left or right. The thumbnail shows the new direction.
  3. 3. To rotate many pages at once, pick All pages, Portrait pages only or Landscape pages only, then press Left, Right or 180°. Reset undoes everything.
  4. 4. Click Download rotated PDF. With several files you get one ZIP containing each rotated PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Is this PDF rotator free and private?

Yes. It is free with no sign-up and no watermark. Your PDFs are opened with pdf.js and saved with pdf-lib inside your browser; only those open-source libraries download, and your files are never uploaded.

Does rotating reduce quality or change my PDF?

No. The tool only changes each page’s rotation setting (the /Rotate value). Text, images, fonts, links and form fields are kept as they are, so the result is lossless and text stays selectable. The file is re-saved, so its size can differ slightly.

Can I rotate only some pages?

Yes. Use the ↺ and ↻ buttons under each page, or rotate every portrait or every landscape page at once. Portrait and landscape refer to how each page looked in your original file.

Can I rotate several PDFs at once?

Yes. Drop several files together or use Add PDF. Each file keeps its own settings, and the download is a ZIP with one rotated PDF per file.

Will the rotation stick when I open the file elsewhere?

Yes. The rotation is saved inside the PDF, so Adobe Acrobat, Preview, Chrome, Edge and printers show the pages turned the same way.

Does it work with password-protected PDFs?

No. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs can’t be opened or saved here. Remove the password first with the app you normally use, then rotate the pages.
