Frequently asked questions
Is the audio to waveform video maker free, and is there a watermark?
It is free and adds no watermark. Rendering uses your own computer, so there’s no upload queue. By default the length is set to the audio duration, capped at 10 minutes, and you can change it. Longer or higher-resolution videos simply take more time and memory.
Is my podcast audio uploaded when I make a waveform video?
No. The audio is decoded, analyzed and encoded to MP4 in your browser with Web Audio and WebCodecs. Your audio and cover image never leave your device. The page only downloads a small MP4 muxing library from a public CDN the first time you render.
How do I make an audiogram for Instagram Reels or TikTok?
Choose the 9:16 Story / Reel / TikTok format (1080×1920), pick a style and background, add your episode title and cover art, set the start time and length of your best clip, then click Create MP4 video and download.
Why does it say my browser can’t make MP4 here?
Rendering needs the WebCodecs video and audio encoders with H.264 support. Use the latest Chrome, Edge or Safari on a computer. If a long video fails, try a shorter length or the 16:9 720p format, which renders faster and uses less memory.
Can I use my podcast cover art as the waveform video background?
Yes. Add a cover image and the background switches to Blurred cover image automatically, with the artwork shown sharp above the title. With the Circle style, the cover appears inside the circular waveform instead.
What video format and quality does the waveform video maker export?
You get an MP4 with H.264 video at 30 fps and AAC audio (or Opus if your browser lacks an AAC encoder). Sizes are 1080×1920, 1080×1080, 1920×1080 or 1280×720, which upload directly to TikTok, Reels, Shorts, YouTube and X.
