Delete your GrabCast data
GrabCast is operated by Digidot Marketing Agency L.L.C., 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. This page explains how to delete the data GrabCast stores about you, for each service you may have connected. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and why, and how long we keep it.
Check a deletion request
If Facebook or Threads gave you a confirmation code after you removed GrabCast, enter it to see the status of the request.
On this page
1. Disconnect an account in GrabCast (fastest)
- Open the Social Media Scheduler app → Accounts.
- Click Disconnect next to the Facebook Page, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, TikTok, Bluesky, Mastodon or Google Drive account.
- We revoke GrabCast's access at the platform (where the platform supports it). We immediately delete that account's access tokens, profile details, post statistics and the "done" marks you set on its comments, and cancel its pending posts. Your own post history in GrabCast (captions, times and links) stays until you delete those posts. Our activity and security log is kept for 30 days.
- To remove everything at once, including saved posts, uploaded media, notifications, AI keys, push devices, your link-in-bio page, Google Docs/Sheets links and the activity log, use Delete all social data from GrabCast in the same tab.
2. Remove GrabCast from Facebook or Instagram
- On Facebook go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, find GrabCast and click Remove. Meta notifies us: we delete the access tokens and statistics right away, cancel pending posts, and delete the remaining account records within 7 days.
- To have all data deleted immediately, send a deletion request for GrabCast from the same Facebook settings page. We delete everything we received from Meta for your Facebook user: accounts, tokens, post IDs and links, statistics, ad-account connections, and posts and media that were only meant for those accounts. Meta shows you a confirmation code and a link to our status page (
…/api/social/meta/deletion-status?code=<your code>on our API server), and you can check the same code in the form at the top of this page. You can also email us the code.
3. Remove GrabCast from Threads
- In the Threads app open your profile → ☰ → Settings → Account → Website permissions → Active, select GrabCast and choose Remove. Meta notifies us: we delete the access token and statistics right away, cancel pending Threads posts, and delete the remaining account record within 7 days.
- To have all Threads data deleted immediately, send a deletion request from the same Website permissions page. We delete everything we received for your Threads profile: the token, profile details, post IDs and links, statistics, and posts and media that were only meant for that profile. You get a confirmation code; check it in the form at the top of this page.
4. Meta ad accounts (Ads manager)
- In the Scheduler open Ads → Ad accounts and click Disconnect next to the connection. We delete its access token right away. Removing GrabCast in Facebook's Apps and websites settings (section 2) also ends our access.
- Campaigns you started keep running in Meta until you pause them. Use Ads → Safety & settings → Pause all GrabCast ads now first if you want everything GrabCast created stopped. Deleting your GrabCast account does this automatically before it deletes your ads data.
- The workspace's record of ad changes (the audit log) stays with the workspace while it exists; deleting your account removes your name from it.
5. Remove GrabCast from Google (YouTube, Google Drive, Docs and Sheets)
- Open Google Account → Third-party apps & services, select GrabCast and choose Delete all connections.
- We notice the revoked access at our next daily check. Pending posts for that account stop, and if you don't reconnect within 7 days, we delete the account's stored data. To delete it right away, also disconnect it in GrabCast as in step 1.
- Google Drive used as storage: disconnect it in Settings → Storage. Linked Google Sheets and Docs: unlink them in Settings → Integrations → Google Docs & Sheets. Files GrabCast created in your Drive stay in your Drive until you delete them there.
6. Remove GrabCast from TikTok
- In the TikTok app go to Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Apps and services permissions, select GrabCast and remove access. We delete the stored data within 7 days of noticing. Disconnect it in GrabCast as in step 1 to delete it right away.
7. Bluesky and Mastodon
- Disconnecting in GrabCast (step 1) ends the Bluesky session or revokes the Mastodon token and deletes our copy.
- You can also delete the app password you created for GrabCast in Bluesky → Settings → Privacy and security → App passwords, or revoke GrabCast in your Mastodon server's Preferences → Account → Authorized apps. We then delete the account's data after our next check fails, within 7 days.
8. Media files, AI keys and other data
- Media library: delete files in Settings → Storage. They go to the Trash for 30 days so you can restore them; use Delete permanently or Empty trash to remove them right away.
- AI keys: remove them in Account → AI & Integrations; they are deleted from our database immediately.
- Push notifications: turn them off or remove the device in the Scheduler settings.
- Link-in-bio page: unpublish or delete it in the Scheduler.
- Temporary email: delete messages in the inbox; everything is deleted automatically when the inbox expires.
- Team workspaces: leaving a workspace removes your membership; comments you wrote stay with the workspace. The workspace owner can delete the whole workspace.
9. Delete your GrabCast account
- Signed in, open Account & Settings → Data & privacy and choose Delete my account. You can Download my data on the same page first. The account and its data are deleted right away, including connected social and ad accounts (access is revoked; campaigns GrabCast started are paused), posts, media, AI keys, storage connections and push devices. If you own a brand or client workspace, transfer or delete it first.
- Or email privacy@grabcast.click (or support@grabcast.click) from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We delete the account and all associated data within 30 days and confirm by email.
- What stays: abuse-prevention hashes (never readable, up to 90 days), content you added to other people's workspaces (without your name), and encrypted database backups until they roll over. See retention.
10. If you never signed up
- Drafts made without signing in, tool settings and files kept for a reload are stored only in your browser. Clear them in the scheduler or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings (see Cookie & Storage Policy).
- Usage statistics are kept with an IP address and random device identifier for up to 45 days. To have yours deleted sooner, email us from that device's network with the approximate time of your visit.
- If a workspace sent you an approval link and you left your name and email, contact that workspace or email us.
